Well I havn't done one of these since it was a mandetory part of my Internet Law class. I have been told that I should start to document my adventurous life so I figured what the heck why not. Just to fill everyone in over the last year and a half I have pretty much lived the life of many. After graduating from Carleton with essentially a pre law degree, I decided that I wanted to take some time off before heading to law school, and so I moved back home cause hey I figured I would save some money. Can I tell you how wrong I was there.... As you all know guys like their toys... and I am no different.... of course I needed new ski equipment, an ipod, a new tv, and now that I have moved into a new apartment downtown Toronto, the money is just leaping out of my hands, but such is life.... you make money, you spend money.... its a vicious circle. The only problem for me was that at one point I was spending my money and I didn't have a job.... its amazing how money flys. Over the last 2 winters, I have lived the life that every skier dreams...that of a ski bum... but I guess it helps out when your parents own a ski chalet 2 minutes from the mountain. I had a great time, skiing with old friends and meeting up with new ones. Its a time in my life that I will always remember and a time that I will probably not see again until the years of my retirement, Oh well. As for now, I am getting ready to start the next chapter of my education. Graduate Marketing....here I come. I am hoping this turns out for the better... I once had the dream of heading to law school, but I hit a major road block in that path ( I don't know if any of you out there have heard of hit one before, but mine came in the form of the standardized LSAT test), which if you asked any lawyer that has been practicing for at least 10 years now to if they would pass it, the consensus would be an astounding NO!!. but, I figure I will enjoy this grad course and work for a bit and then take another stab at it...I have come this far and thought about it for a long time now and if I can accomplish that I will be extremly proud of myself.
Well I guess that is enough for the 1st entry of this appropriately labelled blog. Whether or not you want to read it really isn't a concern of mine, I figure I have a lot of things to say that need to get out and this seems to be an appropriate place to ventillate my views and frustrations instead of taking them out on those around me. So thats it for now and stay tuned for my every exciting life that will be to come
